Hollow Lantern
★★★★★ 4.7
Hollow Lantern is easily the most atmospheric game in this batch. You play a small figure wandering a dark, ruined world with only a lantern for company. The light reveals paths, scares off shadows, and slowly dies unless you find fuel — which turns simple exploration into quiet tension.
There's no combat and barely any text. The story comes through the environment: broken statues, faded murals, the way rooms are arranged. It trusts you to pay attention, and that trust pays off with some genuinely moving moments.
Swipe to move, tap to interact, and that's about it. The controls stay out of the way so the mood can take over. Play it with headphones in a quiet room and it's something special.
